(Tuesday, July 30, 2024) Centre of Excellence (CoE) Javanologi Universitas Sebelas Maret received a Cultural Visit from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Cultural Center on Tuesday (30/07/2024). The group from the Cultural Center, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia was received directly by the Chair of CoE Javanologi, Prof. Sahid Teguh Widodo, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D.; accompanied by Dr. Septi Yulisetiani, M.Pd. (Secretary of CoE Javanologi), Dr. Mibtadin, S.Fil.I., M.S.I. (Program Acceleration and Development Section Coordinator), peer groups and staff at the R.Ng Building. Ranggawarsita CoE Javanologi 2nd floor. The number of groups who attended included Prof. Ts. Dr. Nurinsan Kamil Bin Othman, Encik Mohamed Asrof Bin Semin (Director of the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Cultural Center) with the Universiti Cultural Center team as well as 20 students. The activity also involved Sebelas Maret University students from the Regional Literature Study Program, Indonesian Language and Literature Education, and Elementary School Teacher Education.
The activity began with a discussion on cultural development and signing a Letter of Intent to Collaborate between CoE Javanologi UNS and the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Cultural Center. The Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Cultural Center and CoE Javanologi UNS have agreed to actively build cooperation in developing knowledge, skills, expertise and arts and culture.
Cultural Art Perfomance
Not only the signing of a Letter of Intent to Collaborate between PUI Javanologi and the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Cultural Center. An art performance between students from both universities was also performed in Pendhapa R.Ng. Ranggawarsita, PUI Javanology, which also enlivened the meeting. Representatives from UNS performed a dance entitled Bajidor Kahot presented by the Wiswakarman Traditional Theater Group, while those from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia performed Malay dances and songs. The event closed with hospitality, cultural dialogue between students, and a visit to Museum UNS.
