Tembang Gambuh

Sekar gambuh ping catur,

Kang cinatur polah kang kalantur,

Tanpa tutur katula-tula katali,

Kadalu warsa kapatuh,

Katutuh pan dadi awon.

Rasaning tyas kayungyung,

Angayomi lukitaning kalbu,

Gambir wana kalawan hening ing ati,

Kabekta kudu pinutur,

Sumingkiringreh tyas mirong.

Den samya amituhu,

Ing sajroning jaman kala bendhu,

Yogya sampeyan yuda hardaning ati,

Kang anuntun mring pakewuh,

Uwohing pangawe awon.
