Now, Basahan clothing is commonly used for grooms and women but still elevates the cultural side which is thick with tradition.
So, this Javanese Fashion Basahan is the traditional dress that you see if you ever come to a Javanese wedding and the groom is bare-chested. The groom will only use a 4.5-meter-long cloth (dodot) wrapped around his waist. There are several colors for dodot, namely, red, green, blue, purple, brown, and black, and can be adjusted according to the wishes of the bride and groom. While the bride will use a lemon plus a dodot. So that the bride’s shoulders will still be visible if she wears this Central Javanese traditional dress.
