PUI Javanologi Universitas Sebelas Maret held a Focus Group Discussion with the theme “Evaluation and Advancement of UNS Jawametrik”. This activity was held on Wednesday, November 8, 2021, offline and online in the PUI Javanologi UNS Building Meeting Room. This FGD presented Prof. Dr. Ir. Riri Fitri Sari MM. MSc. (Chairman of UI GreenMetric World University Rankings), John Paterson (Founder of Yayasan Sastra Lestari and sastra.org), and Dr. Dewi Retno Sari S, S.Si., M. Kom. (Coordinator for the Acceleration and Development of the PUI Javanologi UNS Programs).
The event started with the reading of the Javanese Cultural Prayer guided by Drs. Imam Sutarjo, M. Hum. and continued with the 2021 Jawametric UNS Report by Ir. Ary Setyawan, M.Sc., Ph.D. as the Chief Executive of UNS Jawametrik in 2021. Then the event was continued with an evaluation delivered by Prof. Dr. Ir. Riri Fitri Sari MM. MSc. as the first resource person regarding the assessment of 11 indicators in UNS Jawametrik 2021. He also conveyed input regarding student exchanges that could be used as an agent and continued to encourage UNS Jawametrik to continue to develop.
The second speaker, Mr. John Paterson, said that the development of the Jawametrik UNS in the future should not only be institutional but also touch civil society. The third resource person, Dr. Dewi Retno Sari S, S.Si., M. Kom. explores statistics (a) in Jawametrik. The FGD was guided by Dr. Basuki Sumartono, M.Sn. This activity was also attended by peer groups and PUI Javanologi UNS activists.
