There is also a unique building located right to the west of Ndalem Sasono Mulyo. This house was built with a touch of a different architectural style. “This house is not European architectural style, but also not Javanese architectural style. People call it an indische house [a combination of touches of European and Indonesian architectural styles],” said G.P.H. Dipokusumo, the owner of the house.

Unlike Ndalem Sasono Mulyo, which has many functions, Ndalem Lodjen Sasono Mulyo only functions as a place to live. The most prominent characteristic of Indische buildings, one of which is the layout that uses European standards. Here there is a living room, dining room, kitchen and others which have almost the same type as today’s minimalist houses. (rumah190.com)
